Samantha was the daughter of my best friend Michelle and partner Carl. She was born on
13/12/1996.Samantha or "Manfy" as she was known had a few problems at birth, but seem to
be fine afterwards. At the age of 5 she was diagnosed with a terminal genetic illness called San
Fillipo syndrome. Gradually Manfy lost the ability to walk and talk and had to be tube fed. Michelle
was totally devoted to her and spent all her time caring for her. Sadly Manfy passed away on 9/12/07
just 4 days short of her 11th birthday. I went to see her at the Childrens hospice to say goodbye.
She looked so peaceful with a big smile on her face, that's the way I will always remember her
with a smile that could light up a room. God bless you Manfy safely sitting in Grandad Tommy's
knee xx
